Having celebrated over twenty years in the beauty industry, Abdon’s passion shines while motivating his clients and peers alike. His career in hairdressing began when he moved to Los Angeles from Orange County. After attaining his license, he went on to receive advanced training from industry gurus Vidal Sassoon and Tigi. In the late 90s, Abdon pursued an interest to work in other medias, and soon found himself working onset and behind the scenes for commercials, television and magazine photo shoots. Having spent ample time onset enabled Abdon to further expand within his field and he began to do platform work, where he was able to showcase his talent in front of his peers. He dedicated the next five years of his career researching and developing products for a major manufacturer before joining his current home at ICON. Abdon’s talents are now featured on ICON’s global artistic team as a master coach, where he contributes his talents teaching and conducting seminars worldwide. As a head stylist in the salon, Abdon pulls all of his skills as a master craftsman together to create impeccable looks for his clients. His technique is notoriously precise and clients love the clean lines and versatility of his individualized haircuts. Abdon’s professionalism and attention to detail are what keep his clients coming year after year. Their loyalty combined with his commitment continue to motivate and propel him further as a stylist.
