great video and loved all the excellent tips but i could not stand Amy E. she seemed so disrespectful to a true artist.
jess says
Great information from a wise and experince Mrs. Andrre! On a side note this would have been better if Amy E. was not making silly faces in the camera the entire time! i can't stand Amy E. anymore i skip the videos with her in them.

Love your video's Scissor Boy But The color expert is wrong when stating 1 is lightest and 10 is darkest. 1 is Black and ten is very very light Blonde here in the U.S. and she did say it was the usa, right? I'm sure she just made a mistake. But thanks!

From what I read above,no one is going to the PDF Episode notes. I was able to quickly find two of the color wheels etc. Check it out my friends

Great video, thank you! Its been years since cosmo school and I had forgot the name of the book "color me beautiful", which my teacher had our class learn from (Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring colors!) I think Amy seemed a bit tipsy in this video. She can be distracting sometimes, it's almost impossible not to notice. HOWEVER, it is really refreshing to watch a video with such useful information. I think we all get caught up learning new techniques and sometimes forget our foundations. Thanks Scissorboy for the reminder!

Amy is being almost rude to this woman. She is totally uninterested in what she is talking about. This woman is full of knowledge and she is not even taking her seriously and she keeps looking at herself in the camera. I love these videos but I CAN'T STAND AMY!!!

Awesome video!!! The woman explained how to understand color so clearly and simply. Thank you!!!

As always great information!
Amy E. should look into some basic acting or interviewing in front of a camera lessons.
Her constant asides, and ape-ing for the camera in an attempt to be cute are more distracting than endearing. The guest should be in the spotlight and the interviewer should simply ask the questions, and repeat the important information. It can be light hearted, but not distracting.

wasn't thrilled with her ideas regarding color theory, and why does amy constantly check herself out in the camera when she should be paying attention to her guest??????
kendra j says
this is a very informative episode. the only thing is her talking about the color strands 1 being the lightest and 10 being the darkest. I've learned that its the opposite. 10 being the lightest & 1 being the darkest. I live in the USA. so which one is it?

Hi,
Love your videos. I have learned a lot, being a new stylist. I ordered Maree Andre's Peroxide wheel. Where can I find the corrective hair coloring wheel she showed on the video? She only has a universal color wheel on her website. Keep up the good work. I'll continue to be watching. Thanks.
